The first trailer for
Avengers: Endgame smashed the record held by
Avengers: Infinity War by racking up 289 million views in its first 24 hours. Now, the numbers are in for the latest sneak peek (which debuted online completely out of the blue on Thursday) and it managed to generate 268 million views during its first day of release.
That's an incredible feat, and while it didn't break the record set by the teaser, it's still one of the most-viewed trailers in history and that's an awe-inspiring number of views for a second preview.
It pretty much goes without saying that
Avengers: Endgame is going to set box office records when it's released, but whether or not it manages to top
Avengers: Infinity War's $2.048 billion remains to be seen (sadly, we can probably forget about it reaching
Titanic or
Avatar levels of success). With so much hype, it could near
Star Wars: The Force Awakens' $2.068 billion haul, though.
