THOR: RAGNAROK Star Cate Blanchett Want To Return As Hela...For A Team Up With Thanos

Rumours are swirling that the God of Thunder will pay a visit to Hel in Avengers 4 and now Cate Blanchett has dropped some very interesting comments about a possible return as Thor: Ragnarok villain Hela.

While it definitely appeared as if Hela died at the end of Thor: Ragnarok when Surtur destroyed Asgard, common sense says that the Goddess of Death is currently ruling over Hel just like her comic book counterpart. During a recent interview, actress Cate Blanchett acknowledged that while the villain "looks pretty dead" after what happened, there's a possibility she could make a return to the MCU.

"There’s always a way back, but I’m sure there’s always a way forward, who knows? Sure. I never say no to anything." As for a possible team up with Thanos, Blanchett said that such a pairing has potential but notes that it would be "not nice." Hela is the closest thing the MCU has to Death, so many fans were actually surprised when she didn't align herself with him in Avengers: Infinity War back in April.

As you can see in the video below, Blanchett even thinks there's a chance Hela could be redeemed and turn good and seeing as her comic book counterpart has helped the God of Thunder out over the years, that's definitely one possibility. Then again, seeing as Marvel Studios rarely brings back its bad guys, it's hard to say what could happen. However, she may just factor into Avengers 4...time will tell!

No, thanks. Gamorra is already filling the role of Death as Thanos' only love. But I wouldn't hate seeing her in a Kid Loki movie when he's inevitably reborn.

@rabid - I dont know if anyone ever said the Gamora death role before you but I like that idea alot.

@rabid - pretty sure Thanos’s love and infatuation for Lady Death in the comics is not the same as what is a fatherly love for Gamora in the MCU! 🤣

I was just watching The Two Towers recently, and imagining how much more badass Thor's Wakanda entrance could have been if he and Valkyrie strode in like Gandalf and Eomer/the Rohirrim.

Although besides Valkyrie I don't know if there's much if any fighters left among the remaining Asgardians to make up an army.

@Kurne - Get Hela back and they won't need an army, she's virtually an entire army all on her own.

@Kurne - kinda felt like Thors entrance was exactly like Gandalfs and Eomer’s...at the end of the battle when all look to be lost...felt like more of an impact to me...especially with ‘BRING ME THANOS!!!’ BOOM!!! 😂🤯

@SuperSomething616 - It felt very much like the original comics where Thor would show up when everyone had been beaten to save the day.

Thor will probably travel to Hel to try and rescure the dead Asgardians and run into her I'm Thor 4. I hope we get Ulik, Ares, Gore, and Beta Ray Bill in Thor 4.

Three things about Misty in the new Iron Fist season:

1: I appreciate that Missick is wearing the full arm appliance even under long-sleeve clothes. There are moments when you see the shape underneath or a glint of metal through the fabric. It would be tempting to just wear the glove part when the arm is hidden.

2: She and Danny have the kind of friction that only gets worked out one way:

3: ... I wanted to say something else, but it was pretty much covered by that Milhouse gif.

@Spock0Clock - I'm one ep 8 or 9 now. Misty has been great on the show...however for a police officer she makes alot of bad decisions...that said it gets her into alot of fight sequences so thats a plus. The season as a whole so far I will admit is better than season 1 easily and that's all I really wanted.
