Marvel Studios always provides us with at least a few deleted and extended scenes when their movies are released on Blu-ray and Avengers: Infinity War will obviously be no exception. Bear in mind that the culmination of ten years of storytelling is going to be huge and despite that lengthy running time, there are bound to be some character moments and scenes which failed to ultimately make the final cut.
Now, Joe and Anthony Russo have revealed that we should definitely expect to see a fair bit of extra material when Infinity War hits DVD and Blu-ray later this year due to the sheer size of the movie.
"We were very tight with the scripts on Winter Soldier and Civil War, so there weren’t a lot of extras," Joe explained when Digital Spy asked the filmmaker about the extra content fans should expect to see. "This is a very big movie with a lot of characters in it, and we played around with a lot of improvisation, because we had new chemistry that we were defining between characters."
"It was the first time ever that all these characters were on screen together, so we played around with quite a bit of footage, and I think there will be some good stuff for the DVD," he promised.
What sort of additional scenes do you guys hope to see when Avengers: Infinity War hits stores?
