Avengers: Endgame had amassed a whopping $169 million after just one day on release overseas, and now we're hearing that the Marvel Studios epic has also broken a record from Thursday night preview screenings domestically.

According to
Deadline's sources, the
Infinity War sequel has already taken in around $43M so far tonight after starting showtimes at 6PM. While that figure will likely have climbed higher by tomorrow, this means the movie has already set a new record preview night for Marvel, topping the $39M made by its predecessor last year.
The all-time preview record is still held by by 2015’s
Star Wars: The Force Awakens ($57M), so
Endgame still has a ways to go if it hopes to best that.
