Destiny finally arrived for The Avengers and Guardians on Friday and while we'll probably have to wait until mid-August or early September to add the blockbuster film to our home video collections, one major retailer has already released a first look at their exclusive cover art.

Since the movie is a true Thanos story from beginning-to-end, the Best Buy-exclusive 4K Ultra HD Collectible Steelbook understandably features the Mad Titan Thanos (Josh Brolin) standing tall with a completed Infinity Gauntlet, featuring the Soul, Reality, Space, Power, Time, and Mind stones shining brightly.

Stay tuned into CBM for more news about the home video release and in case you missed it, check out details on the upcoming Blu-ray release of Ryan Coogler's Black Panther HERE.

Check out the cover art below and head to Best Buy to pre-order your copy today:

@Prime8 - I wonder if this is the only steelbook they'll be making. I typically don't buy the steelbooks (unless they go on sale) but I could make an expection with this movie. However, I don't have a 4K TV lol.

Still amazed at how they made Thanos get all the stones in this movie. Felt so organic

@Bokis -
Would have liked to witness the destruction of Xandar, hopefully they are saving it for a 'Nova' film.

@Scarilian - Yeah, I can understand that. I thought it was a cool and quite shocking moment when I saw it he already had the Orb. Some things are better left to the imagination.

@Scarilian - I think they filmed it. Remember that report like a month ago of people seeing the first 20 to 30 minutes of the film?? In the reports there was a sequence of Thanos and the Black Order attacking Xandar. Plus the Russos said they're are a bunch of depleted scenes.

It is surprising that Marvel decided against making this a two-part film like they originally planned. This is clearly only the first half of the story.

It just hit me that Infinity War is a film where the Avengers blow a 3-1 lead to Thanos & ends with them calling a superstar to join the team to save the day next year.....

@LEVITIKUZ - Didn't they blow a 3-1 lead, because Strange saw only one way, and it had to go that way?!

@LEVITIKUZ - My friend's girlfriend (who's not a big MCU fan) was furious at Star-Lord at the end of the film. On the ride home she was yelling "it's all his fault!".

She was saying that when they had Thanos subdued on Titan that Star-Lord should've shot Thanos in the head and not punched him. That would've ended him and saved the day.

We actually had to calm her down and remind her that it's just a movie and even she admitted that she was surprised at how emotional she was getting. She wasn't even a fan yet she was in tears! This is how powerful and engrossing this movie is!

@bcom - that's really awesome. I actually had that same conversation with my uncle last night. I sat in the theater the other night like "Oh no. No, no, no. Please God, contain yourself." That Gamora is ACTUALLY gone and not a ruse makes it all the more understandable though. This movie dealt with some pretty complex situations.

Completely unrelated, but after a so-so season 2, season 3 of Into The Badlands is starting really strong.
