Chris Evans Shares His Thoughts On The Avengers And Tom Hiddleston's Loki!

The Captain America: The First Avenger actor once again comments on being a part of the heroic ensemble cast, as well as briefly discussing how Tom Hiddleston's villainous Loki fits in on set...

"It's been great," Evans told MTV News when asked about what it's been like filming The Avengers so far. "It's a lot different than 'Captain America,' in the sense that on 'Captain America' you're the only one wearing a funny suit. On 'The Avengers' you're kind of like, 'Oh, we all look a little silly,' then very quickly it's real all of the sudden. You see Hemsworth in the cape, Downey Jr. in his Iron Man suit, you think, 'Man I'm part of something really cool!"

"I first saw the [cast] and I was like, 'Man, I wish was working with them. Oh wait, I am.'"

And what about Tom Hiddleston's Loki? Seeing as he's the bad guy, does that set him apart from the rest of the heroic ensemble cast? "He's a part of he crew," Evans admitted. "We hate looking at him as a bad guy."

If they pull this off, the MCU is going to really be elevated into legendary movie series status.

Kind of funny. I distinctly remember Evans saying he was hoping to take a backseat and let Robert Downey Jr. (or anyone else) do most of the talking, but I can't recall seeing RDJ do an interview about Avengers yet

Guys, let's face it. If they actually pull this off, this will be the definitive comic book movie. I mean, I love Nolan's Batman films, but the Avengers basically could be the Godfather of comic book movies.

@ISeeStupidPeople -
I am guessing it is because of all the public appearances for Cap and he is obviously being asked about Avengers as well.

Guys the MCU is already legendary in a couple days we will get our fourth character in the same universe that alone is incredible . The epic factor for every single movie is just going to increase from here on out .

@Thunderforce:
Exactly. Every movie from the MCU so far (Iron Man, Incredible Hulk, Iron Man 2, and Thor) has been excellent. Its just gonna continue

What I mean by definitive is this. The comic book medium by nature is a medium that has many complex relationships between characters. Part of what makes comic books interesting is the interaction of superheroes within said universes (MCU in this case).

The Avengers is attempting to unify several different characters and movies into one storyline and movie series-The Avengers. It will be a monumental triumph if they can pull it off.

That's all I'm saying.

I don't know how there going to pull this off. To make this movie the EPIC of all EPICNESS will be insane for the director. He need 's to talk to Peter Jackson about getting all the character's together and the action scene's.

like i said the sleeveless outfit is just something Thor wears on his downtime. once he's summoned the magic thunder, he'll get caped up and probably or not getting the rest of his uniform put on him magically.
