Images And Details For The Avengers Shoot In Cleveland Doubling For Germany!

Although filming is wrapping up on The Avengers' Cleveland set doubling for East 42nd Street of New York City, another area in the Ohio city, Public Square, has been transformed for scenes that'll occur in Stuttgart, Germany. And thanks to Marvel Movies, via Twitter user D Sweeney, a few images and details regarding tonight's shoot on the location have been revealed.

Got the inside scoop they will simulate a plane crashing into the Terminal Tower later tonight for the Avengers movie. And the scene will also depict be a "black tie gala" part. A shop's facade at Ontario and Euclid was modified to be a German store front. A fake bus station rested across of the marquee of a theater hanging off of City Center -- both with signs spelled in Deutsch. Even a German flag waved next to an RTA stop.

Also, check out an extremely detailed description of the D23 footage after the following images.

Also, it seems those "detailed" descriptions of The Avengers' D23 footage weren't as detailed as they should've been. An annoymous source tells me there was a Latin chorus playing subtlety under the clip whenever Loki was present like he was Satan himself. And the way the Ready Room monitor cut out after his speech implied you didn't know if the monitor was supposed to cut off; evidently meaning Loki's presence was "spooky." And slso, these descriptions got the order of the shots mixed up and didnt manage to accurately describe the battle of Manhattan shots. There were shots of what looked like a dropship from Starship Troopers flying into the city under fire. And a cool crane shot moving in on Hawkeye and Black Widow on a bridge using damaged cars as a barrier while returning fire. Plus there was an aerial shot (from the teaser) of an open cabin & door during the night fight where there's light coming out thru the opening that quickly turns green. Between the night, storm and rain, the night fight looks to be in the tone of Incredible Hulk and likely the first place they encounter the Hulk. When Tony mentions cap as part of his "living legend" spiel, there's a shot of Cap leaping out of the back of a military helicopter while it's in flight and he's leaping in that famous arms out front Cap pose. The shot of the Hulk screaming at the end was at night and had the extreme close up compositions of the fight shots with Thor, Iron Man & Cap from the other night scenes.

Marvel's The Avengers picks up when an unexpected enemy emerges that threatens global safety and security. And Nick Fury, director of the international peacekeeping agency known as S.H.I.E.L.D., finds himself in need of a team to pull the world back from the brink of disaster. With director Joss Whedon at it's helm, and an ensemble cast including Chris Evans (Steve Rogers), Robert Downey Jr. (Tony Stark), Chris Hemsworth (Thor Odinson), Jeremy Renner (Clint Barton), Mark Ruffalo (Bruce Banner), Scarlett Johansson (Natasha Romanoff), Clark Gregg (Agt. Phil Coulson), Cobie Smulders (Maria Hill), Samuel L. Jackson (Nick Fury), with Tom Hiddleston (Loki Laufeyson), and Stellan Skarsgard (Professor Erik Selvig), the film releases worldwide May 4, 2012!

So it was a new Hulk clip? Cool!
And that Cap jumping out of the plane with his shield and no chute is awesome. I just hope this movie isnt just all action it has to have a good story.

I was there, and the shot of Cap with his arms out, leaping out of the plane was [frick]cing COOL. Seriously badass, I'm surprised it hasn't been mentioned more.

Also, the scene with Cap vs Thor, had Cap cowering on the ground under his shield while it looked like Thor had taken a running leap about to throw his hammer down on Cap. they were in the forest too, which we saw glimpses of from the first teaser.

I didn't notice the latin music. but Loki DEFINITELY knew the rest of the avengers were listening in to his and Fury's convo.

also, more glimpses of Iron Man in a red and sliver suit.

Also, the first scene of Loki and Fury, Loki seemed almost cocky, even tho he was in the cage.

In the scene with Loki and Tony, Loki looked desperate. Almost on edge.

@BooYah the shot of the Hulk was one of the quickest flashes of the entire thing.

he looked EXACTLY like the one-sheet they released at comic-con. All we saw was his shoulders, face and hair (it filled up almost the entire screen) and then he roared, seemed mighty pissed. lol

But there was absolutely no way to tell where he was. I'm pretty positive they showed it right after Tony's "We have a hulk"

@Jennn- oh Someone else who read it from Hollywood.com said Hulk looked like 2008 Hulk but with fiercer eyes.

@drax94 i imagine the music is just filler right now. not final music at all.

@BooYah, huh, no I'd say he looked closer to the one-shot they released. The the newer Hulk's hair wasn't as shaggy. Though, the coloring seemed very similar. And I'd definitely agree with the fiercer eyes. I always thought Norton's Hulk verged on looking a little too boyish. Ruffalo's looked angrier.

@Jennn- oh well I liked both of the Hulk's looks. The footage sounds awesome I hope they release it.

@ClarkStark No. It was a night shot and you could see a city lights behind him. To me it looked like he was standing in the back of a plane (Quinjet, perhaps?) ala Tony at the beginnning of Iron Man 2.

He had his arms out to his sides, like a 'T' or a cross (I think his shield might have been on his back, I don't remember him holding it), he was wearing his cowl and then he just jumped into the air like an acrobat.

lol it looked so effortless, like he could have done a couple of flips in the air after.

Oh, HELL yes. Cap needs to cut loose in this fil. Stark and Thor will sell him short, I can't wait for Steve to prove them wrong.

The banners feature "Star Gods" called the Annunaki from Sumanrian creation stories. Pretty sure this is some connection to the Skrulls or whatever alien race will be featured in the movie. Not sure on the German connection at this point. Any ideas?
