Talking to Poptimal at Comic-Con last week, director Joss Whedon talked revealingly about how things are going so far on The Avengers, while also commenting on the potential for sequels and how he's preparing for those with the upcoming superhero team-up. Thankfully, it seems as if he's planning on making it a standalone film (in the unlikely event that the movie bombs for example) but still peppering plenty of hints and teasers for future instalments.
