THE AVENGERS: EARTH'S MIGHTIEST HEROES To Be Erased From Netflix Come December

Time is running out for the critically-acclaimed Marvel animated series...at least on Netflix. Both seasons are listed to expire, at two contrasting dates, in December. If you plan on re-watching the series, or you're interested and haven't seen it yet, I highly recommend to give it a watch!

With the recent removal of Wolverine and the X-Men, there was some suspicion that Earth's Mightiest Heroes may be next on Netflix's removal list. Although the show had a strong fanbase and several unresolved plot points, ultimately it ended to make room for it's replacement - Avengers Assemble.

Season one will be leaving on December 1st, while the second season will then follow on December 11.

This is why if you like something get a physical copy. Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu...all nice but you don't own it and they can take it away at any time. I have my blu-ray copies and I watch the GOTG episode in anticipation for Adam Warlock's imminent arrival in the MCU.

Netflix really sucks at their cartoon section. They took off Brave and the Bold and Green Lantern. They also never added the second season for Young Justice.

Darn it.

I watched the first season in anticipation of the first Avengers film. Can't think of a better way to get hyped.

Never should have canceled this show. It was one of the most loyal adaptations of a comic book ever.

Not surprising, it was probably taking away the attention of their Avengers Assemble show on Netflix.

Whelp, at least they left all the good cartoons on there like Avengers Assemble, Ultimat Spider-Man, and Hulk and the Agents of SMASH!

Marvel animation has been god awful. I tried to go back and give the Hulk show a second chance but quit after 7 episodes.

Their new GOTG show comes out, I made it to episode 4.

It's just so nauseating to watch and insulting to my intelligence as a viewer.

EMH was a great show. Avengers Assemble doesn't compare, but I did enjoy the second season where the Avengers battle the Justice League throughout the season.

CURSE YOU MARVEL ANIMATION AND YOUR INABILITY TO MAKE GOOD CARTOONS! At the moment that is, who the hell is in charge of that department anyway? Because that guy needs to get the boot and the cartoons needs to stop leeching off of the MCU's success.

They have to remove it. As long as it exists, it will serve as proof as to how shitty the current show is.

@Jeight

i think Dc is doing well enough, there were some bad ones like Throne of atlantis, batman unlimited n son of Batman , but non the less they do produce at least one or more good animated movies every year.

this year God and Monster n batman vs robin,

last yr. Flash point, Arkham Assult!

n a yr before that TDKR part 1 N 2!!

Sadly u can't compare these quality with wat marvel animation is doing now a days, Marvel r way way behind.

We're getting an animated adaptation of The Killing Joke too!! Can't wait for that

Dammit, Marvel. I'm tired of every single thing having to be exactly like the MCU. The comics, video games, cartoons, television shows, etc. They cancelled two of their greatest shows ever (AVENGERS: EMH and SPECTACULAR SPIDER-MAN) and replaced them with two awful shows that succeed to promote the MCU to children but in absolutely no other regard.

The MCU is not the source material! It shouldn't be dictating every single thing with Marvel's name on it.
Darkknight2149
Darkknight2149 - 11/26/2015, 3:31 PM
As good as the MCU is, I'm starting to think that having a single company like Marvel and Disney have control of everything (comics, films, TV, etc.) was a bad idea. Now everything is basically promotional materials for the films. Yes, there are different divisions of Marvel, but they all fall under Disney.

This is why I'm really worried that DC is going to do the exact same thing.

@EricBorder

Ya... SO far Dc have well adapted most of the iconic comics into animation..

Redhood, Batman Year one, All star Superman, Flashpoint, TDKR part 1 n 2.. it no doubt that The Killing Joke might just be the best one ever..

can't wait for the trailer to drop!

@Darktower

Right on, same here.... I feel like rewatching some of those movies you listed now, haha

@Darkknight2149

I don't think WB/DC is going that route at all.... and I'm happy that their not, I feel like they will definitely keep the movies separate and their own thing

The DCEU is gonna be EPIC
