Watchmen and The Avengers - two well-loved CBMs that couldn't be more different. One was a commercial smash hit, the other a darker, cult favorite. Now, one YouTuber has brought both properties together, with pretty interesting results! Check it out!
Last week, we shared a very impressive Star Wars/Age Of Ultron trailer from YouTube editor, The Unusual Suspect. It seems he's been up to his old tricks again, delivering another entertaining little mash-up. This time, he turns his focus on Joss Whedon's original Avengers movie and Zack Snyder's Watchmen. The video features footage from Marvel's 2012's smash hit, re-cut in the style of Snyder's epic trailer - arguably one of the best CBM teasers of all time. Check it out below:
Perhaps what's most impressive here is the way he manages to seemlessly blend together two movies with such contrasting tones. It's also always great to hear that Smashing Pumpkins theme again. The Unusual Suspect has been making waves for some time now. If you haven't already, I'd recommend you check out some of his other works over on his channel.
