While discussing his Lost character with IGN TV, the actor went on to discuss his feelings about working on The Dark Knight and returning for the third movie in Nolan's Batman series!

Shifting gears, I have to ask – Is it pretty cool to be able to say, "I'm the mayor of Gotham City"?

That was an awesome gig. It was such an incredible experience to work with not only Chris Nolan, but the incredible cast, and, yeah, to be part of the Batman...I guess now it will be a trilogy. It was great to get to put on the suit and represent the city.

Have you heard if your services will be needed again any time in the next year?

I haven't heard yet, but I'm hopeful that I'll be reelected.

I like most of that casting except for Joker. If you watch the last 15 minutes of the movie Sleuth you would see that Jude Law would make a great Joker. Look into it.

Why does he always look like he has eye liner on?

I'm only on Season 4 of Lost (just finished episode 9) and so far I've liked what I've seen of Carbonell. Pretty like-able, but really gives off the feeling that there's more to him than meets the eye, and there probably is, I just haven't gotten there yet :)

Ror: It's awesome. Like, really, awesome. It's hard to describe it, but it's just so awesome. Season 2 kind of lost me for a bit, but I came back and got through it. F*cking Michelle Rodriguez. Bitch has to ruin everything. Thank God for Evangeline Lilly though :)

I onlky finished Season 5 last week and I caught up with 6 online - what an amazing TV show...after watching all 5 seasons in a row over 3 weeks I definitely think that they always knew where the show was going rather than making it up as they go along! I just cant wait to see how it all ends! :) And yeah, he wouldve made a great Namor!

TYLER: I think its either in the season 4 or 5 DVD extras that Carbonell points out that it looks like he wears eye liner because he has incredibly dark (and fairly long) eyelashes! They actually put makeup in them in the show so they look lighter!

I think our hope of Lilly being Wasp wont work out though - I read online in an interview that she plans on taking a break from acting when she finishes Lost to focus on humanitarian work! Fingers crossed Marvel are able to convince her, lol!

Yeah I heard about that. Damn shame too, Lilly would own as Wasp. I can respect her decision though, Lost is a hell of an acting gig. I just hope Marvel can set aside a bit of that $$$ they got from the Disney deal to get Kate Austen on the Avengers roster :)

I just hope that all of the great stars from the show go on to star in more than just TV - too many actors end up getting stuck on TV when they're better than half of the over-paid movie stars out there! Cough, Sam Worthington, Cough! :P

Why this always happens with him, i have noticed him he is always surrounded by troubles and always confused because of his non sticky mind.IF this is true I think this could be a really awesome casting job. Why would the 80's mullet look even be considered? That made sense in 1982 to be all 80's edgy. The original incarnation, which I saw only recently, was clean cut. Khan is supposed to be genetically superior so whatever look that conveys that would be for the best and I'm sure JJ Abrams would do an awesome job with the character and maybe enlighten us on his backstory without succumbing to the anchor of past continuity.

I think it's funny that a grown man can wear eyeliner and no one cares or calls him "emo" in any way, yet if it were ANY OTHER male, they'd be called that or "gay" or some other nonsense. Irony.

lol, he doesn't wear eye liner! My God. He just has really think eye lashes. They straight up asked him about it a few times at conventions and on tv shows..and even did a parody of it when you see him backstage putting it on when he thinks the camera isn't watching.

maybe he drank a little much and ended up with "guyliner" tatoos - there is something unnatural going on there.

I personally thought he was a weird choice for mayor, and had a hard time with him bossing around Dent and Gordon.

I mean he's ok, but one of the few strange casting choices of TDK.
