POLL: Prologue VS Prologue

POLL: Prologue VS Prologue

If you have been lucky to have seen the recently leaked The Dark Knight Rises prologue then you will no doubt not be the only one comparing it to the previous movie The Dark Knight. But which is best?

The Dark Knight Rises prologue leaked onto the internet today in a low quality bootleg. Now all fans who have seen both will straight away be comparing the prologue to the identical released The Dark Knight prologue that introduced us to the psychopathic terrorist the Joker and his robbing of $68million of the Mobs money. In this new prologue Bane gets purposely captured by the CIA so he can kill the people tracking him in the mountains and and also capture Dr Leonid Pavel who rejected Bane's offer to build him a terrorist machine.

But which is best? Vote now.

The Dark Knight Rises is released July 20, 2012 Directed by Christopher Nolan starring Christian Bale, Anne Hathaway, Tom Hardy, Gary Oldman, Michael Caine, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Marion Cotillard, Morgan Freeman.

Personally I don't think too much of the new prologue and vote goes with TDK

Can't say until I actually see TDKR one in full quality.

The poll includes a group who watched a shitty bootleg of the prologue. They have no valid stance at making a choice. They haven't seen it.

it's too soon for this poll
we need good quality for the prologue

I Have Not Seen It.. A Little Early.. And Anything with TDK Will Win Regardless...

Couldn't agree more with Neo. When the majority of CBM readers actually get to watch it before M:I GP and have an opinion based on a decent cinematic experience of the prologue this poll will be ruined already by, as he said, no valid stance.

I know CBM writers want to keep the discussion going in this site and only the best for it, but calm down, wait for the weekend.

Having said this I don't understand the critics about Bane's voice, I understood it clearly and English isn't my native language.

Ill say TDK but Im sure that has a lot to with the fact that TDKR leak was bad quality.

Wow why try to compare? I liked them both because both show the villains doing good at what they do. The TDK prologue showed the Joker and introduced to how crazy and maniacal he was in the film. The TDKR prologue shows us that Bane is kinda like the reverse of Batman. "No one knew me until I put on a mask" The whole plan that he had set up just to get Pavel. The way he transfused Pavel's blood into the dead body so when the authorities find the remains it will look like Pavel died in the crash. Both Prologues were Epic in my opinion.

Agent Carcetti: "So whats next in your master plan?!"

Bane: "Crashing your plane..... With no survivors."

This is stupid. How are meant to compare the too when one has been available for anybody to see and the other just leaked online with only half the screen shown. Ugh!

@MatchesMalone1989 Well said. TDK and TDKR prologues are two different scenes with context respective to their own film. And we've seen TDK and understand the weight and outcome of the heist. It's basically a classic scene at this point. It makes more sense to compare lightsaber duels, and even then, there are variables in the narrative.

So basically its just a playground question; which one looks cooler? And if that's the case, an aerial kidnapping on a falling plane kinda trumps a bank shoot-out in that context.

At the end of the day, both scenes are equally awesome and TDKR is obviously taking things to another level. Thats how sequels should be.

@Helena Yes, Bane's voice is clear. His accent is just heavy in spots. His voice is awesome.

I can't judge fairly because I've only seen the TDKR prologue from a crappy video. Do this poll again when they eventually release it in glorious HD.

The one for The Dark Knight Rises was pretty impressive with the stunt work and all, but I was kind of disappointed, because it was remissive of the sky hook in The Dark Knight.

I think what NickKaseAKAthePieEATERxGETIT means is that they were floating around in the airplane, like the fight scene in Inception where the hallway is rotating.
