Robin References In TDKR Trailer? - Hines Ward, NOT Burt Ward!

A lot of members seem to think there are way too many "hints" about Robin in the new The Dark Knight Rises trailer- and here's another one: That's NOT robin.

I know a lot of members here on this site are not American, and don't know much about AMERICAN FOOTBALL "the real football" so i kinda forgive you for not knowing.

And a lot of people have been jumping into the chat box saying, "oh did you see Nolan point out Robin in the football scene?" "Nolan is so smart putting in hints of Robin in the movie"

Well, I'm sorry to say you're wrong! "not really sorry"

We all know that the football scenes were filmed in Pittsburgh at the Steelers stadium. Well, there just so happens to be a wide receiver by the name of Hines Ward on that team (he was just in dancing with the stars awhile back if you saw that), and THAT is who they used in the movie. Sorry to pop your Robin bubbles.

How is it "read football"? I'm an American but I know that our Football is merely a rugby rip-off.

Seeing Ward's name just kinda knocks me out of the movie for a second -_-

Hating on America is the new "America is Number One!". Get over yourselves, Europeans...lol! I wonder how many brain injuries come out of Rugby vs Football. Not to mention missing teeth and broken bones...Keep skipping the protection, I guess their brains are too underdeveloped to protect.

Why do I get the feeling this site is digging its own grave lately? Posting false headlines, lame headlines, biased statements taking aim at other people, etc...

Is that football comment really necessary? This is the only news site Ive been to where the staff actually pokes at non Americans in a very rude and insulting way. Pathetic.

American Football is the amazing. All yall non-Americans are just jealous that you don't have an awesome sport native to your country. You guys take the name football to literally, for our Football is the real Football!

Actually, in all seriousness American Football IS a variation on Rugby which was invented by the Brits..so yeah, not really "native"..but then again neither are you unless you happen to wear a head dress and do rain dances..

I'm JOKING!:)
