The latest batch of set pics from the London shoot of Chris Nolan's The Dark Knight Rises comes from Liveforfilms and gives us our first glimpse at the gents making up the movie's GCPD and S.W.A.T team...

Nothing terribly exciting after the Bane pic I know, but we still get a first look at some human beings involved in the shooting of TDKR , as opposed to more vehicles!..






And most interestingly, this snap of a costume labeled "Sewer Thug".



Now I don't think it's too much of a leap to assume that there will be some type of scrap in a sewer at some point in the movie. Unless Some of the thugs in the film just hang out there on their days off or something.

Speaking of it, I have a couple of sewer thugs to drop on the world.

Bad taste, I know, but its the first thing I thought of.

I'd say this is a spoiler and that Killer Croc will for a fact be in the movie.

@ GillytheKid33- Or a shot of Killer Croc since we now know he is in the movie. I would settle for a frontal shot of Bane.

(That doesn't mean you pervs need to start putting up pictures of Tom Hardy, I have a lunch to keep down, you know!)

you do have a point, but he only goes into the sewers to get revenge on Croc because of a previous fight they had. I can't imagine Croc being that important...IF he were in this. which i highly doubt.

This is just me but in the Bane pic there is a white dot in the image. I thought it was just an error but when you look at it when it is zoomed in it looks like a tunnel. Maybe Bane has a fight in the sewer? My own stupid speculation.

@AlReg its just part of a lens flare in the pic... if you look just to the bottom left of the white dot, you will see a grey oval and directly across from it at 2:00 you will see a red one... they all make up a lens flare.

maybe they wont have 'Killer Croc' as we know him...

but as Bane's escaping he might take a sewer route and get attacked by an 'extra large' sewer crocodile...
sort of an homage to the NYC sewer crocodile stories..
and maybe Bane just rips it in half without thinking twice or really having to try and thats where we first get a display of Bane's awesome power under an envenomed state...

@BlindLemonShemp That would be cool.....i really doubt killer croc is in this though, what with nolan's reality universe batman...however the pic earlier of bane, i'm pretty sure is set in the sewers with the daylight flooding in at the end of it and flooding in from above through an open manhole cover. You could be be right on the money!

even something where somebody mentions that Batman might hide in the sewers... and somebody declares 'He'd never survive down there.. a buddy told me theres crocodiles in the sewer that'll eat a man whole!'

maybe not necessarily but something like that would give a great setup to build suspense when Bane enters the sewers, maybe sees something stirring in the water..

After checking out the photos above, I was thinking Bane could be hiding down there or escaping through the sewers at some point and comes across some 'sewer thugs' and we get a example of banes rage and strength as he destroys them all. Would be cool to add your idea of him noticing something strirring in the water afterwards or beforehand...

Most interesting. Maybe Bane's got some crooks running around in the sewers for him? Eh, speculation is pointless for the time being. Not enough details for all that.
