Tickets for The Batman went on sale earlier today, but based on how quickly those early IMAX seats sold out, if you haven't already got yours for opening night, it may now be too late!

To mark the occasion, Dolby, IMAX, ScreenX, and 4DX have all released new posters for the highly anticipated blockbuster. There's nothing overly special here, but as the hype continues to build, these are enough to remind fans that one of the biggest movies of the year is on the horizon.

It looks set to be the first title since last December's Spider-Man: No Way Home to open to more than $100 million at the domestic box office, something exhibitors are bound to be excited by. We can't escape the feeling we're in store for something special with The Batman, and if fan screenings are taking place on March 1, it shouldn't be too much longer before critics start weighing in.

The Batman finds the Caped Crusader in his early years, struggling to balance rage with righteousness as he investigates a disturbing mystery that has terrorized Gotham City.

Joining Robert Pattinson in the star-studded ensemble are Zoë Kravitz as Selina Kyle; Paul Dano as Edward Nashton; Jeffrey Wright as the GCPD’s James Gordon; John Turturro as Carmine Falcone; Peter Sarsgaard as Gotham D.A. Gil Colson; Barry Keoghan as Officer Stanley Merkel; Jayme Lawson as mayoral candidate Bella Reál; with Andy Serkis as Alfred; and Colin Farrell as Oswald Cobblepot.

The Batman is set to be released in theaters on March 4.

These posters make Batman look full black, and I kinda like it. Still, really hope to see the dark blue and grey combo one day

I like the one with Selina and him.

Tickets aren't yet available in my country so I'll have to wait more.

I still can’t get over how bad the cowl looks. 💩

@MostlyHarmlesss - Agree. Mostly everything about it I don't like. It doesn't fit the overall aesthetic of the rest of the suit at all.

Wow. It’s about to happen. I really feel this is gonna be an amazing movie. Hopefully this will be the first of many good DC movies that will wash away the Snyder DC movies out of our minds. I hope this leads to WB making another Superman movie soon.

The posters for this movie have been the best looking I’ve seen in years. Most of them are very simple yet very effective

Does this version of Batman have something wrong with his neck? Looks like adult torticollis. Wonder if that will be a plot point in this film.

@Danicho - I think the issue is this Batman is bullet proof and needs to protect the neck and head. Nanotech Suit Like Iron Man :)

@DoubleD - my concern is that he can’t seem to lift his head. I mean, Iron Man could look straight ahead even in that bulky heavy initial suit he developed in the cave. From Bale to Affleck and now Pattinson - all of their posters have Batman staring at his bat-feet

Why the double D thing in the first? Makes me think Daredevil.

Unpopular opinion: making Thomas Wayne evil breaks the Batman character fundamentally.

@FleischerSupes - what is evil? Maybe compromised. Maybe layered. Idk about him being evil.

Tickets went on sale bang on Midnight here in the UK, but I'm away in Florida when it releases so there was me waiting to get some from 5:00 a.m. UK time but it seems they didn't go on sale at Midnight in the U.S., but I managed to bag them for Saturday the 5th in Orlando in IMAX. Signed up for a Fandango alert which came in really handy.

Can't wait.

Some pretty awful photo editing work here, but some of these look quite decent.
