Christian Bale Is Already Getting In Shape For Batman 3!

Even though filming is still months away, the actor is apparently already getting in shape for the movie even though he's being kept in the dark about the plot...

According to one of Showbiz Spy's inside sources, the actor who has portrayed Bruce Wayne in the past two Batman movies helmed by Christopher Nolan, is already preparing himself for filming which is believed to start early next year. Here are some excerpts from the sites report:



"So far it’s all hush-hush and even Christian doesn’t fully know what the movie will be like," reveals a movie insider.

"But he’s already working with a trainer and a dietitian to get the right look for Batman and Bruce Wayne in this movie. He plans to be fitter than ever!"

We've had a fair bit of Batman 3 news recently. Between Michael Caine revealing that the next installment might be his last and Christopher Nolan confirming that both the script is nearly finished and that he'll definitely direct, we can only hope for some story and casting news in the coming weeks!

Batman 3 (no official title has been revealed just yet) will be released on July 20, 2012!

deadpool72@ I would assume he would if he could, but like a couple of others just pointed out, he had to loose it all for the fighter. He's one of those crazy hardcore method actors.

Well I know this is of subject of his weight but, I really hope they do something about his mask / helmet. Ever since he got that new one in the second movie he looks like he has this big fat head. Right where the line is for him to be able to move his head easier, it goes from, big around the jaw line to super thin on the neck. And it looks kinda strange. If I'm wrong just tell me, and i wont say anymore on the matter. But that's just what I see.

This Batman should have a larger build to symbolize how long it's been in the Nolanverse. More menacing, more detective side, more Bruce Wayne, more Batman, less gruff voice.

My bet is we don't even know who the villains are until prinicipal photography. That's a great thing. I don't need to be worried, and it's enevitable that we'll get a good villain on screen handled by people who cherish the source material regardless of who's who.

Guys Bale was in the best shape in Batman Begins. He was huge and toned and had the physique of a guy who can take on ten guys at once and not run out of breath. He gained quite a bit of weight for that role.

Bale is a good Batman IMO. Best Bruce Wayne
Michael Keaton will forever be the Big Black Bat for me.

For his 3rd outing i wanna see a more brooding Batman. More parent issues (especially after losing Rachel). We need a Bruce Wayne lost in his Batman persona, meaning less Bruce Wayne screen time. & a more aggressive Batman at that to.
This would pave the way for Robin to be a redeeming factor in a 4th movie/ second trilogy.
C'mon guys we want no less than 9 movies in this Batverse

@Deadpool @DLM The reason he's so skinny is because in his last movie he just made, the one with Mark Wahlberg (The Fighter), he got MAD skinny. Like, really really skinny. So he has to get back all that Batman muscle for 3atman.

Cant wait for more news! Hopefully we get the main villain announcement soon!

they had to change the suit to make it easier for Bale to move his neck around the old suit could not let u move your head at all

Oh and seeing how people are mentioning the voice now. How about he looses the growl and starts using a high tech voice synthesizer. That way they can get Kevin Conroy to do a voice-over. :)

I did not realise that Christian Bale had lost that mucg weight for this role! (as seen in CaptainQuirk's picture above) Sheesh, no wonder he's already having to start training...the guy is a great actor and dedicated to the roles he takes that's for sure! If there's one thing I'd like to see in the next Batman movie, it's a better costume. The one in The Dark Knight was definitely a step in the right direction, but something about it still doesnt sit right with me. The symbol needs to be bigger for a start.
