People took it to twitter ever since the revelation that the role of the caped crusader would go to Ben Affleck. It started off with simple amazement and dismay as people called into question Affleck's acting abilities to handle such a mighty role as Batman/Bruce Wayne and cited a previous superhero role he had, DareDevil, as evidence of his inability to act within the comic book genre as one of the lead characters.

This lead to the coining of the Hashtag Batfleck, a combination of Batman and Affleck. People quickly started posting their opinions:

It did not stop those who were less than pleased at hearing of the role being given to Affleck voicing their opinion. They started posting to the Hashtag #BetterBatmanThanBenAffleck funny protest pics, as to who would be a better Batman than Ben Affleck.

Then there are those who took it upon themselves to create a petition which, they would hope, to be delivered to Warner Brothers in order to change their decision.

What you guys think?
