From that point on, comic book fans have been eager to watch the cinematic equivalent to the Dark Knight Returns ending. Thus now, Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice has been one of the most anticipated movies of all time. However, did Zack Snyder's masterpiece live up to the hype?

After watching the film, I think I know the difference between the dc films and marvel films.

DCEU films are COMIC BOOK MOVIES whereas MCU are MOVIES BASED ON COMIC BOOKS.

Personally, it didn't live up to the hype for me. Although I did find it entertaining and good at times, it just felt disjointed and didn't have a good flow to it. Overall, I would say that it's a average to decent movie, and that it's not as bad as some people lead you to think.
