A few days ago a moviepilot speculation turned into a rumor that was swiftly crushed by a lot of competent news outlets. However, when Benedict Cumberbatch gave the old "can't confirm or deny" to a BBC reporter hope returned that Cumberbatch could grace the screens as Brainiac or Martian Manhunter. Now in an interview with E Mr. Cumberbatch makes it pretty obvious he probably won't be in Batman V Superman or in Justice League, but hopefully a comicbook movie director in the future will finally be the one to take advantage of his acting talent.
BATMAN v SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE - Zack Snyder will direct. It's written by Chris Terrio, from a screenplay by David S. Goyer. The film stars: Henry Cavill as Superman/Clark Kent and Ben Affleck as Batman/Bruce Wayne. The cast also includes: Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Laurence Fishburne as Perry White, Diane Lane as Ma Kent, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Ray Fisher as Cyborg and Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman/Diana Prince. Will arrive in theaters March 25th, 2016
