When it was revealed that Jesse Eisenberg would play Lex Luthor in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, a lot of fans were disappointed. That's not because it was an unconventional casting decision, but because they were hoping that Bryan Cranston would be chosen after numerous rumours pointed that way. So, did the actor ever talk to Warner Bros. about the role? "Not one conversation, it was all fan-driven," he told MTV at Comic-Con in the video below. "They're thinking, 'Who could play Lex Luthor? Who's bald who could be menacing? Oh, Walter White, we can get that guy!' So, it's like, that's not very inspiring casting..." What do you guys think?

I AGREE!!

Fans have ZERO imagination. While Bryan is an amazing actor and any film/series would be very lucky to have him, people were only casting him because he was bald and a villain in Breaking Bad. It's why left-field castings are the best, because they're about characters, not looks.

It was like people insisting Gina Carrano be cast as Wonder Woman or Scot Adkins as Batman even though they can't act their way out of wet toilet paper.

That pic is beautiful with Wayne Gordon. Cranston is nearly a no brainer for the role. He'd fit perfectly in the DCEU.
