First Jason Momoa Interview After His AQUAMAN Role Is "Confirmed"

Jason Momoa (Game of Thrones, Conan) appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live last night, making it his first interview since his Aquaman role was confirmed by the Hollywood trades. What exactly does Khal Drogo have to say about his Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice role?

Momoa is still trying to call the Aquqman news a rumor it seems. But when Jimmy Kimmel asks him a direct confirm or deny question, Momoa can only say, "That would be pretty exciting, wouldn't it. We'll have to wait and see".  So is Momoa Aquaman or is he not Aquaman?  If you recall, a similar situation played out with Momoa regarding the role of Drax the Destroyer in Marvel Studios' Guardians of the Galaxy.  Due to an inability to come to terms on salary, the role went to WWE wrestler, Dave Bautista, despite Momoa being the first choice for the role.    

Regardless of how this all shakes out, filming on Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice is currently underway.  The film stars Amy Adams, Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck and Jesse Eisenberg. Co-starring are Gal Gadot, Ray Fisher, Diane Lane, Jeremy Irons, Laurence Fishburne, Tao Okamoto and Callan Mulvey. The film is directed by Zack Snyder and will hit US theaters on May 6, 2016.

Just saw this and as much as I don't want to jump the gun on this, looking to the audience and asking "That would be pretty exciting, what do you think? We'll just have to wait and see" sounds like a terrible way to deny a rumour.
WB clearly wants to capitalize on the news themselves so he's obviously under some sort or contractual obligation to not confirm it himself until WB gives their official word on it (assuming he has the role).
So, just give us the damn press release WB already!

His role has not been CONFIRMED. Really wish some people on this site would learn the meaning of journalistic integrity. The title states that this is his first interview after his role is confirmed and then in the article you say "So is Momoa Aquaman or is he not Aquaman?"

If he was confirmed, you wouldn't have to ask that but since he isn't confirmed, you do. Have some integrity and stop saying he is confirmed until he is.

Dye his hair a dirty blonde (do we really need another black haired hero? Superman, Batman, WW...), give him a mix between the current look, the 90s look and Ocean King and make sure he isn't a stupid sea savage Drogo 2.0 and it should be decent.

While i would love to hear the offical words of him being aquaman (and quite frankly, i do think that based on all this talk, that just hasn't been offical), since Aquaman needs that kind of treatment Momoa could give him, so that general audience would not treat him as a joke no more, i would find this very ironic if this is still just a rumor and they have not cast him as Aquaman :P (nor cast Aquaman at all)

@imaginejim and @CherryBomb, thank you. I keep making this point, the trades are NOT confirmation, so stop acting like they are. He's probably in talks for it, but at this point I hope the talks break down just to prove to a lot of people that the trades aren't always right.

I think the trades are right this time because Momoa has been denying it like a motherf'er since the rumors started, but now that the cat is out of the bag, he could of set the record straight and denied being up for it but he didn't.
