Filming of Zack Snyder's Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is currently taking place in Michigan but outside of a few shots of Gal Gadot as Diana, we haven't seen too much. Though, that might change quite soon as Batman-News is reporting that scene involving Lex Luthor's company will be filmed June 12th and 13th. Best part? Their source claims that Jesse Eisenberg ("The Double") will be on set for those scenes. So, what will this version of LexCorp be like?
A source close to Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice has informed me that production is heading to LexCorp next week. In Zack Snyder’s Man of Steel sequel, LexCorp is described as a young, edgy company. Think of it as a .com or Google type workplace. It’s a smart company with a stylish vibe, a youthful clash of rock and roll, preppy, and nerdy employees. Hipsters! - Batman-News

Thanks to the heads up from CBM's BatfleckReturns

Hey if it works for the movie, then I have nothing against this portrayal of Lex Luthor and Lexcorp. Although it does sound a bit weird.

@Batffleck I don't know. The first one seems like a mob boss to me. Lol

Well that is the way companies seem to be going. Maybe he was a young idealistic tech type, but after MoS he found himself questioning himself as he could never match superman despite his intelligence, maybe he has a reason for revenge, maybe dad died in attack and he was handed company.

However, I would be inclined to think this isn't quite true, as LexCorp clearly had Tankers, Big Office Style Buildings etc so seems more industrial.

Although I damn-there hate Man of Steel, Batman v Superman can dig deep into what the repercussions can be and really play into this cause-and-effect scenario of: What can we do with the leftover Kryptonian Technology? How can we use it to our advantage? ...And so on and so on. I'm really interested in that aspect, assuming they're going that route.

They may of course be going for a young brash arrogant Lex, who may not be in villain mode yet, this movie could show his change... Guess have to wait and see.

Obviously Luthor is going to be charismatic and likable to the public, but LexCorp being filled with hipsters... probably the biggest company ever that has its fingers almost everywhere (science, technology, oil, food produce, public services, etc) and deals in shady, illegal experiments and, sometimes, deal weapons to terrorists, reminding me of the Lifeinvader company from GTAV... we'll wait and see but... uggrhh...
Klone
Klone - 6/5/2014, 3:23 PM
Thing is though, that's why Luthor is great as a DCU villain that makes alliance with other villains sometimes on his level... his power... he's damn near untouchable for [frick]'s sake. I really hope in this film they show that a far as brains go Luthor >> Batman and Superman.

Go play the GTAV Lifeinvader mission. This description is that.

This should surprise no one.

Lex was remade into the greatest evil of the 1970's: "real estate mogul", now he's the greatest evil of the 2010's: "dot-com billionaire".

There is a line between updating a character to keep them relevant vs. just changing it to change it. Let's call it the "Singer Line". This seems to me to have crossed that line.

I'm not sure what to think about Batman-News.com. I mean, they've never broken anything major, but they have provided a few small pieces of information and so far all have been proven neither wrong or right. The biggest piece they've broken was the Affleck leg injury, and that was completely false.
