Will WB Announce These Post-BATMAN V SUPERMAN DC Movie Plans At San Diego Comic-Con?

From a 2017 Flash/Green Lantern team-up to a 2018 direct sequel to Man of Steel, the handful of big-screen DC Comics titles that Warner Bros. has planned have possibly been outed ahead of Comic-Con.

Nikki Finke, formally of Deadline Hollywood, has finally launched her self-titled site, where one of her first exclusives possibly reveals all the big-screen DC Comics adaptations that Warner Bros. has in the pipeline and plans to announce at San Diego Comic-Con next month. According to Finke's sources, the Zack Snyder-directed Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice will be followed-up by "Shazam (July 2016), Sandman (Christmas 2016), Justice League (May 2017), Wonder Woman (July 2017), Flash/Green Lantern team-up (Christmas 2017), and Man of Steel 2 (May 2018)."

Of the titles listed above, Justice League seems to be the only one confirmed, given Zack Snyder is expected to direct Dawn of Justice and the ultimate DC superhero team-up flick back-to-back. However, the other titles have been mentioned being in the works previously. Anyhow, in addition to Metal Man and Suicide Squad movies falling off of Warner's  schedule, Nikki Finke also reveals the actual reason behind Warner Bros. pushing back the highly-anticipated Batman v Superman from its intial 2015 release date: "There will be cameos of superheroes for future installments. The cameos will include the already known Cyborg and Flash. Green Lantern may be introduced.  And Aquaman will be seen in the Justice League movie. Problem is, Warner Bros Pictures was still negotiating with the actors for those cameos and future roles, meaning major contracts for multiple JL/character films to follow. The studio didn’t want to move forward until they had more of this secure so they held off starting production for a few months."

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice stars Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot, with Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne, Diane Lane, Jesse Eisenberg, Jeremy Irons, and Holly Hunter. Written by Chris Terrio, from David S. Goyer's screenplay, the Zack Snyder-directed film hits on May 6, 2016!

You would think they would drop some lower budget DC Movies such as Suicide Squad or Deatherstroke before 2016. That's over 2 years without a single film, while Marvel spits out 2 or 3 a year.

Nice!
Although the GL and Flash team up movie is pretty random, I'm not sure about it, what would you even call it? It doesn't have the same effect as Batman v Superman.

May 2016 – Batman v Superman: Obviously
July 2016 – Shazam: I'm surprised it'll be coming out that soon
Xmas 2016 – Sandman: Obviously
May 2017 – Justice League: Obviously
July 2017 – Wonder Woman: Not surprised here, I've been suspecting this since September
Xmas 2017 – Flash and Green Lantern team-up: Holy shit! Unexpected, but a brilliant move!
May 2018 – Man Of Steel 2: No surprise here

Kinda surprised no solo Batman film is mentioned.

I'm surprised Cyborg isn't on the list.....
Hmmm so I'm not quite sure how reliable this list is after all.
