According to Deadline, advance ticket sales for Black Panther are tracking ahead of Spider-Man: Homecoming, which opened to $70+ million in China. However, as Spidey is a more popular character than BP, "day-of" ticket purchases are expected to be smaller, resulting in a $50-$60 million opening for the film.
