According to a Canadian movie website SneakPeek.ca, Fringe writer Andrew Kreisberg has turned in a draft for the hour long pilot based on DC Comics’ superhero Booster Gold to the Syfy network. I am not 100% sure on the source, so we'll leave this one in the rumor category for now. However, with CBM now putting the rumor out there, we should expect official confirmation or denial from Syfy pretty soon.

Reportedly, fans should be pleased with the pilot if it receives the green light and makes it on to television screens. Hopefully, it learns it's lessons from NBC's failed Wonder Woman attempt.

The series will be a one-hour drama based and will be executive produced by Greg Berlanti ("Brothers & Sisters").

Booster Gold is a fictional character, a DC Comics superhero created by Dan Jurgens. He first appeared in Booster Gold #1 (February 1986) and has been a member of the Justice League, DC Comics' all-star team of heroes. The character is initially depicted as a glory-seeking showboat from the future, using knowledge of historical events and futuristic technology to stage high-publicity heroics. Booster develops over the course of his publication history and through personal tragedies to become a true hero weighed down by the reputation he has created for himself.
