AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR Actor Chris Evans Says He'll Miss Everything About Being CAPTAIN AMERICA
After recently confirming that he has no plans to return to the role of Steve Rogers after Avengers 4, Avengers: Infinity War star Chris Evans has now revealed what he'll miss the most about the role...
Avengers 4 and Avengers: Infinity War were already set to be an end of sorts for the Marvel Cinematic Universe as a whole, but after recently revealing that he won’t be returning to the role of Captain America, they have also become the end of Chris Evans' time in that role.
As one can imagine, fans of the beloved character have already expressed how much they’ll miss the Star-Spangled Avenger. This feeling is something fans share with Chris Evans himself, who, at the premiere of his play Lobby Hero, discussed what he’ll miss most about the role:
“Well, you know, my contract is over, so that’s as far as I know. [I’ll miss] everything [about Captain America]. I mean, it’s not just the character, it’s the people – the experience, such good movies, such wonderful memories. I’ll miss a lot.”
Once again, Evans' comments about his departure from the MCU don't shed any new light on how Avengers 4 will say farewell, but it’s still nice for fans to see the actor express how much he enjoyed his time with Marvel.
An unprecedented cinematic journey ten years in the making and spanning the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe, Marvel Studios’ “Avengers: Infinity War” brings to the screen the ultimate, deadliest showdown of all time. The Avengers and their Super Hero allies must be willing to sacrifice all in an attempt to defeat the powerful Thanos before his blitz of devastation and ruin puts an end to the universe. Anthony and Joe Russo direct the film, which is produced by Kevin Feige. Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Michael Grillo and Stan Lee are the executive producers. Christopher Markus & Stephen McFeely wrote the screenplay. “Avengers: Infinity War” releases in U.S. theaters on April 27, 2018.
