"Captain America" Female Lead Down to Alice Eve & Hayley Atwell?

EOnline has reports that Alice Eve and newcomer Hayley Atwell are to screen test for the female role in First Avenger: Captain America.

With Chris Evans and Sebastian Stan on board for The First Avenger: Captain America, Marvel has been searching for Captain America's love interest. It was reported numerous times that Emily Blunt, Keira Knightley, and Alice Eve were up for the female lead. And Emily Reportedly denied Marvel's offer.

Now E!Online has updated the casting process for the role of "Peggy Lee", not "Peggy Carter" which is what was said to be her name.

A well-placed source tells me that British actress Alice Eve, 28, is the front-runner to play Peggy Lee in the much chattered about upcoming superhero movie The First Avenger: Captain America.

Also up for the Peggy Lee part is fellow Brit Hayley Atwell, 28. I'm told both actresses are screen-testing for the second time for the coveted role tomorrow in London. I also hear that Keira Knightley is no longer in the running.

Well, Hayley Atwell is actually good and I haven't seen Alice Eve in anything before so I'd say Hayley. Either way, they're both gorgeous.

My vote goes to Alice Eve. But Hayley Atwell seems like she would have good chemistry with Chris. So, either or is fine. As long as Kiera Knightley is out.

As Sharon Carter looks exactly like the WWII Peggy, I wonder if they'll use the same actress for future Cap movies set in the present!?
