Captain America: TFA Heading Back To England For Reshoots?

Captain America: TFA Heading Back To England For Reshoots?

We all thought the movie had entered post production and was in the can, ready for it's July 22nd release. Not so according to Craveonline..

Craveonline have come across a very interesting piece of info at C2E2. Despite Joe Johnston's Captain America being in post production it seems there will be another trip to the UK for some more shooting before everything is officially in the can..

Recently, we were attending a press event that included several props from Marvel Studios productions, including Captain America’s iconic shield. When asked if this was the same prop that had been shown at the Marvel booth at last year’s Comic Con, we were informed by a staffer that the this shield was different (not a stunt prop) from the one seen at SDCC. The staffer also said that this particular shield was used in the film, and was actually going to be sent back to the UK in two weeks to be used in reshoots.

Now, before anyone starts to panic re-shoots are very common. True that they don't usually happen so close to a movie's release but still, lets not assume anything is up just yet. A studio will often issue details on the specifics and the reasons for the re-shoots anyway.
