One of the most anticipated films of next year is undoubtedly Captain America: The First Avenger. The production already has four of it's lead roles cast: Chris Evans (Steve Rogers/Captain America), Sebastian Stan (Bucky Barnes), Hayley Atwell (Peggy Carter) and Hugo Weaving (Johann Schmidt/Red Skull); and a theatrical release date of July 22nd, 2011.

FeatureFilmCasting.com is reporting that filming will officially begin on June 28th, 2010 and the studio is currently searching for many more actors to fill major and minor roles. How can you get in on the action? Contact one of these casting agents below with your headshots and resumes:

Interesting ;)

For anyone interested, i just finished inking my sketch of Cap's "could be" movie costume. I should finish the colors tonight and put it up tomorow. It really... really... really looks gay. They should really have kept the Ultimate WW2 uniform. At least it could have looked somewhat believable. But the descriptions i had to work with made it look flippinly fabulously gay.

SkWiRlDaDdY- He actually does... Look at what 30 years of drinking nothing but Cola does to you. I wonder if he still wets his bed... And it's funny how his mom went from an old fat aunt in the first to a hot & tanned fat milf in the second. Kev's mom was always ugly though... but a brilliant actress none the less!

I'm not cutting my hair.....so no role for me as a soldier.....unless the have a bonus after credits what if fight scene, were Cap doesn't get frozen and lives on and in the mid 70's Nixon sends him to beat the crap out of hippies......I can be one of the hippies.....that would be AWESOME!!!!

Or I could Play Sabertooth.......if he met up with James in Victor in a battle.....since that won't happen fingers crossed for a bonus hippie beatdown scene

Seriously - I want to play the pre-serum Steve Rogers! I don't know how that aspect of the movie will be handled, but they should just take the easy route and cast me :) I'd even pay them! I'm a stage actor and act in indepedent films produced by a production company I co-run. I'm 6'1" (just a little taller than Evans), a scrawny 150 lbs, I have dirty blonde hair and blue eyes, but most importantly - I've been told I look like Chris Evans for years now, which is the only reason I bring this up. That would be the coolest job of my life! Anyway...
