While speaking with ComingSoon.net in anticipation of his recent thriller, Berberian Sound Studio, Toby Jones talked a bit about reprising his Captain America: The First Avenger role, Arnim Zola, in Marvel's upcoming sequel, The Winter Soldier. “All I can say about it is that I was pleased to be brought back,” he said. “I thought I might be--because you'd know better than I do--but Zola finds a way to defeat time and you won't be disappointed with the way that's been treated in the film, that's what I would say.” With that said, it's almost safe to assume Zola will appear not only in flashbacks, but also during the present time (likely) in his comic-accurate android-robotic form.
Meanwhile, filming for Captain America: The Winter Soldier is very much underway now in Cleveland, Ohio. And while on set Monday, NBC News caught up with co-director Anthony Russo as he talked about shooting the much-hyped Marvel sequel in his and brother Joe Russo's hometown. “It's going great, couldn't be better,” he said. “Everyone's happy to be here, we're shooting a wonderful scene, downtown Cleveland – perfect. There's a lot of action in the film, and there are several different sequences that we're shooting here. We looked all over the country for a location to shoot this movie, and Cleveland ended up being the right place to do it,” said Russo.
