Will we see Winter Soldier in the future?

The info on Sebastian Stan and his role as Bucky Barnes

Editorial Opinion

There are reports on the internet that Sebastian Stan the actor playing Bucky Barnes in Captain America: The First Avenger has signed a 5 or 6 picture deal with Marvel Studios, similar to Samuel L. Jackson's and Chris Evans' 9 picture deals.

But what 6 movies could we see Bucky/Winter Soldier in

It would only make sense he would appear in the rumor Captain America trilogy and any Avengers sequels as Winter Soldier

5 or 6 that means there is some truth in the rumor that they will have shorts for their lesser known IP's as well as major releases....

He's probably going to be in the second Avengers movie or something.

evans has only signed with a four picture deal at the moment which maybe extended, same goes for the whole cast the only person to officially sign a nine picture deal is SLJ

@deadpool. there taking inspiration for bucky from ed brubakers run on cap, where bucky is much more darker character, with special ops background. he'll probably be more of partner then a sidekick

yeah, this is old speculation, but it only makes sense that they may be planning Winter Soldier to make an appearance in a future Cap film.

Also, with Cap's rogues gallery sucking as much as it does, I think its safe to assume that he'll be in the Cap sequel. It would be way more interesting than having someone like Batroc the Leaper, or the Serpent Society, or one of his other clownish villains.

Typically, when actors sign lenghty deals like that (5,6 or 7 films) it is simply a way to make sure the actor will be obligated to the films. It doesn't neccessarily mean that they will actually take part in that many films. Studios are doing that more and more lately. Who knows, tho, I could be wrong.

Fits as someone to connect the TFA and Cap sequel as Cap will probably have trouble adjusting to life in the 2000's and in the sequel to Cap as a potential villain or at least as a brainwashed assassin that Cap fights and then trys to save like the comics, then maybe a role in the Avengers sequel...

Mr. A,

I always like your Articles but I would like to hear your thoughts as well as the question to us. Putting your guesses in would flesh this out into a proper size.

I doubt they are planning to have him take over for Cap. They just never think that long term. I wish they would just leave him dead after the first movie but obviously that is not going to happen. Nothing is sacred anymore.
