There's still no sign of that next trailer for Captain America: Civil War, but at least a handful of people have today had chance to see a new clip from the movie which depicts Captain America and his allies duking it out with Black Panther and War Machine. The scene was obviously taken out of context so it's a little hard to figure out what's going on in places, but it still sounds pretty damn awesome.
The clip started off with a car chase featuring a motorcycle and a black Audi SUV. The chase involved Captain America (Chris Evans), Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman), Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan) and Falcon (Anthony Mackie). They pursued each other through a tunnel, which became engulfed in explosions generated by the skirmish.
Eventually, the characters emerged from the tunnel, only to be met by War Machine (Don Cheadle). It appeared as though he was on the scene to detain Captain America.
"Stand down now," War Machine angrily told the captain. "Congratulations, Cap, you’re a criminal.”
Black Panther then intervened, baring his metal claws and ripping off his mask to reveal his identity.
As we get closer to the release of the movie, it's going to be interesting to see how much more Marvel shows off, especially as we've seen so little of many characters and absolutely nothing of the likes of Giant-Man and Spider-Man. The marketing campaign will no doubt kick off soon anyway, and if there's one thing this description makes clear, it's that this war is going to be a lot of fun to watch.
