Dominic Cooper On Playing Iron Man's Dad In Captain America!

The British actor talks about preparing for the role and describes Howard Stark as a "slick Howard Hughes type that's into aviation and women"...

"It's an oppurtunity where you can see his future because I know the guy who becomes my son and I see myself as an older version in Iron Man 2 which is great for an actor to have those tools. All I know of him is that he's a fantastic engineer and inventor and a very slick Howard Hughes type that's into aviation and women! The comic itself is brilliant and the film has a fantastic cast."

Captain America: The First Avenger is set to be released on July 22, 2011!

Interestingly the guy sitting next to him looks more like Howard Stark than Dominic does.

Really!? I think they made a great choice casting Cooper as long as he can pull off an American accent! :) It'll be interesting to see whether his version of Howard is anything like Downey Jr as Tony.

@Orphix totally agree...
Luke Evans does look way more like a younger version of John Slattery, the guy that played Howard Stark in IM2..
