Here's a quick look at Chris Evans wearing the iconic costume shown today at the Marvel Comic Con panel.

The first teaser trailer for Captain America: The First Avenger was shown to attendees of the Marvel Comic Con panel; which took place only a few hours ago. One of the brief scenes was test footage of Chris Evans wearing the newly revamped Captain America costume. Now, this image doesn't do the actual footage of the suit justice (as it really sold me on the look for the film). I'm sure some of you out there are eager for a taste of what many of us were lucky enough to see first hand:

Of course people hate it already. I like it. C'mon guys... Marvel/Disney wouldn't sink $100 million into this franchise and risk it being campy.

Let's trust Marvel. When have they ever made a crappy film costume?

Looks terrible...looks like those leathery 80s getups when they tried to make live-action comic book tv shows and the like back in the day.

It better look better when the first teaser trailer comes out.
