You all will remember that we had a Vote for Cap! Top 4
article with Jensen Ackles. Then we had Jensen Ackles is Captain America article when he won. So a week later IMDB.com puts down Jensen Ackles to be rumored for Cap. Is it possible that they read our little article? Perhaps...Perhaps not. But there is a reason they put him down and it could be because of this site!

So if it is because of this site...good job CBM!!!!!!!!!

I will keep checking to see if they put the Bucky Barnes and Red Skull winner on there to.

This would be terrible. He seems so full of himself. I disliked him on Smallville. He sounds like he's trying to make his voice deeper than it really is -- or maybe that's just his bad acting coming thru.

Hell No!!!

I'm all for the friendly voting for CAP game, but this right here is sad. Real sad.

Now for the people who want Ackels for CAP. What if this movie bombs. What if by having Ackels cast, it screws up the Avengers.

I will not stand for it!

Marvel needs to be REALLY REALLY careful on casting someone for CAP.

But the difference is that Jackman and Bale are both great playing Wolvering and Bats. Jackman played Wolverine as a bad ass, and Bale played Bats as an embodiment of fear. That's what the roles required, among other things. Cap must be obviously American with an American accent, which Worthington can't do for sh*t. Cap also needs to have an all american look, which Worthington also does not have. And Cap must be portrayed as a confidant, fearless leader, which Worthington has not shown anything resembling.

It's far more important that an American play Cap than an American play Batman, or a Canadian play Wolverine.

sorry to burst your bubble but Ackles as Captain America was posted as rumor on imdb over a week and half ago and way before the voting ended on this site for who should be Cap


Oh yea and Christian Bale for Cap !!!! lol just cause =) just thought i'd keep it going ;)

If it's true, it's a VERY poor casting decision that will blow up in Marvels face when the film stinks due to the inability of the lead to act.
