SpiderMedia have gotten their hands on more details about the easter eggs hidden within the special features on the Iron Man 2 DVD and blu-ray which will be released in the US on September 28th and in the UK on October 25th.

•Apparently, the Red Skull is interested in finding the Terrasect. Little is known about this mysterious object although it appears that Howard Stark has notes on the object in his diary.

•A prototype of Captain America's shield is shown and referred to as a "Defense Armament Prototype for possible Infantry deployment".

•S.H.I.E.L.D director Nick Fury and Agent Black Widow's current assignments are classified.

•Jim Rhodes/War Machine is classified as part of "Project: Iron Man" rather than in "The Avengers Initiative" as was mentioned at both the end of Iron Man and during Iron Man 2.

•Stark was also involved in the creation of the Gamma Device with turned Bruce Banner into the Hulk and was shown in the opening credits of The Incredible Hulk.

•Bruce Banner is still a fugitive from justice and his location is listed as being "unknown".

I think their HAMMING the details out on this DVD/BR!

Hell it wasn't exactly OSCAR worthy lol!

Man I hope they have a feature that you can edit bits out of the film, that would actually be sweet!

Give it time... I reckon that function wont be long coming!

P.s. STAR WARS better have new stuff btw in their reissues! : P

@LEEE777 - they have that feature now. It's called scene selection. Its what makes Ang Lee's Hulk watchable.

I'm guessing the "Terrasect" might just be the thing that the Red Skull was searching for...also known as the Cosmic Cube! How cool would it be for Captain America to end with the Skull getting trapped in the cube (meaning he could return in future movies) and Loki walking up to where it was dropped, picking it up and saying: "Foolish mortals!" They could then tie that into The Avengers with Loki using it to control the Hulk or something! :P

DCMF: Thanks - Howard certaintly seems to have a bigger role in the movie universe that we all ever imagined...whether or not we'll see or this in Captain America remains to be seen I guess! After all, these could just be clues on the DVD/blu-ray. In the film, we might only see his involvement with Cap's shield for example but I'm intrigued either way!

Brothar that thing is not a "Terrasect" but a Tesseract. a geometric cube that exist in four dimensions at same time, three known (height, width, length) and the fourth that is time. I believe that the cosmic cube will be a portal, like time machine or dimensional machine to Asgard.
