I think that this was a great choice! 'The First Avenger: Captain America' may be one of the most anticipated comic book movies ever. It's important that it's done right. A realistic costume like this one is pretty essential. I'm sure we can all agree that this would make one hell of an awesome scene in the movie:

Thanks MULTI! :) And as I said before, thats a great idea for how the Cap movie should go! Though, Im still not entirely sold on Geoff Stults for Cap (though he's a better choice at least visually than several other names suggested!) I'll have to check out his acting skills sometime before I make any definite choice! Until then, Jensen Ackles for Captain America, lol!

Good, it should have won. The costume not only is f*cking awesome looking, but it makes perfect sense considering the WW 2 setting of the movie.

Then for Avengers, I'm not sure, but I definitely know I want the mask from Ultimate Cap. I think the head part looks great, without the wings and looking more modernized, fitting with the modern era of the Avengers movie.

And I thought Dicaprio was your new favorite choice Lee? You've already dumped one actor for another, why not do it again? ;)

TYLER: LMAO! :D Im also not sure which costume would be best for The Avengers...I really like the Ultimate mask (with the chin strap thingy from Ultimates 2 especially) but the body of the suit should stick closely to the classic but use the awesome looking Ultimates comabt belt! If they dont use the wings then Id like to see something similar to whats on the Reborn mask!

Josh: I wanted to talk about this for a few days, and since it's concerning Supernatural, which stars Jensen Ackles, who is the best choice for Cap, I thought I'd bring it up here:

So I got done watching the season premiere of Season 5, right? Do you remember the part where the angels were telling Dean he was the Sword of Michael, and trying to convince him to let Michael take him over? Is it only me, or did you also get chills when Zacharia said "...stage four stomach cancer"?

TYLER: Most definitely! Over the past four seasons, there has been some really shocking moments but that was one of the most chilling moments I've seen in a TV show! The guy who plays Zacharia is a great actor - who ever would have thought that an angel could be such a bastard, lol? Just wait until you get until the episode, "The End"...!

im diggin the dicaprio idea,but in scenes w o costumes they would have too cgi bulk him a bit! he almost has too be a main actor(normally im against the a list)but its flipping captain america!!!! plus its gonna be hard too pull off any of his costumes in the real world!he cant be in ww2 forever

The Ultimate WWII slash a mix of CLASSIC CAP in best for the CAP movie, though i want the round SHIELD!! Dunno about you??

First Avenger: Pure 100% WW 2 Ultimate Cap. No other changes necessary IMO. Triangular shield for most of the movie, gets round one as an upgrade for his final fight or something similar.

Avengers: Mostly Ultimate Cap, particularly his accessories like brown belt, brown boots, and wing-less mask, with also a chin-strap like in the Reborn version, giving the mask more of a tactical feel. I don't think the Classic one with the feather-like chest would translate too well, I'd rather it just be smooth, as in the Ultimate costume again.

teabag: Cheers mate! Yeah, their own take on the costume should be cool - I think each of these are great outfits so if they took a little inspiration from each we'd end up with something great!

dancingmonkey08: Thanks! Im not sure - I was thinking of doing one to see whether CBM should include a new tab just for comic book news as i think that would be a really good addition to the site!

On a seperate note, I just finished 'Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2' - what a waste of £40. Not only was the voic work bad but the graphics were poor and the story was shit. 4/10.

Blue contacts on brown eyes are horrible lol, but seriously Ackles ain't a good enough actor to pull CAP off, theres way much better, but he is perfect for a lesser role like HAWKEYE though!!

Good point, MPP. They absolutely could go with an actor and change his hair and eye color, and that would be fine with me.

But what wouldn't be fine with me is if they didn't do anything at all. Yep if they got somebody with chartreuse hair and fuschia eyes it wouldn't sit too well with me lol

Yeah that suit would be great!But i still say WWII Captain America:Reborn for the 1st movie,Ultimate Cap for the second(no helmet though).Triangular Sheild,Round for Final Fight.
