The Hollywood Reporter has run a piece on Brie Larson and in the lengthy article, it's revealed just how committed she is to the Marvel Cinematic Universe after starring in Captain Marvel and Avengers: Endgame later this year.
Apparently, the Oscar-winning actress has signed a seven-picture contract so that means she's lined up for at least five more movies after the two mentioned above. It's no great surprise that Larson has been asked to commit to the role for the foreseeable future because Marvel Studios always locks people in for the long haul.
However, given her widely reported initial reservations about accepting the lead role in Captain Marvel, she must have been pleased with what was offered and the creative direction the character will be taken in moving forward.
Something that surely helped is the fact that Larson has netted a cool $5 million for starring in the origin story which hits theaters on March 8th. That ten times the amount Robert Downey Jr. scored for Iron Man in 2008 and $3 million more than what Chadwick Boseman landed for Black Panther despite the fact he'd already starred in Captain America: Civil War.
So, the future is definitely looking bright for Larson and Captain Marvel fans alike...
