The Captain Marvel sequel definitely appears to be heading in a different direction than we initially expected, though there's an awful lot of excitement to see Carol Danvers assemble on screen alongside Monica Rambeau/Spectrum and Ms. Marvel. This team-up promises to be one for the ages, and it's widely believed the three superHERoes will be taking on the Kree.
Now, we have a new logo for The Marvels that cleverly combines the individual logos of each character. This was shared by a VFX artist working on the movie who has since deleted their Instagram account, and while they're a Marvel Studios veteran, we're not going to name them here as they probably feel bad enough for sharing this when they shouldn't have as it is!
It seems likely this is the official logo for the sequel, and while it's probably going to be a while before we see anything official from this one, production on The Marvels is already underway.
Recently, director Nia DaCosta praised the level of creative freedom she's received on the project.
"It's amazing. [It's] more [freedom] than I've had on anything," the filmmaker told EW. "It's great because we're all just comic-book nerds who want to make a great comic-book movie."
