In a recent issue of Total Film magazine, the lovely Aubrey Plaza was asked about playing Catwoman. She said, "I would (expletive) die to do something like that," she went on to add, "There's something so sexy and badass about Catwoman. I just think it's the ultimate female role. You get to be a woman, but you also (can) destroy people, and you use all your female energy for evil. I just kind of love that." Plaza also briefly spoke about her onscreen spouse in Parks and Recreation, Chris Pratt, who plays Star-Lord in Guardians of the Galaxy. She said, "I think that (he) is so ridiculously talented and likeable and just such a good guy. He really deserves everything he is getting right now.  If I had to pick one person who was going to be famous and be everywhere and shoved down everyone's throats, I would pick him." What do you think? Would you like to see Plaza play Catwoman? Do you think Pratt deserves his success? Sound off in the comments!

I am guessing a lot of people will say no because they still don't understand how much harder it is it do comedy than every other genre.

Well just googled her; she can do sexy, but can she act? Let me know if you know.

That would be pretty cool. I can see her playing the same role Michelle Pfeiffer did for Batman Returns. The nerdy chick who becomes into a psychopath.

Michelle Pfeiffer was the only good Catwoman. The rest have sucked so far.

@ruadh Something about comedy actors somehow allows them to play dark characters, like Keaton as Batman. I'm just not sure if she can act though, I haven't seen her in anything(I think).

@RextheKing She is fantastic in Parks and Recreation, you should check that out if you are curious. I haven't seen her do anything more dramatic, but just judging by her role in that series, I think she will do well.

@RextheKing "Can she act?"

Hell, let her audition. It's not like anybody was referencing Anne Hathaway for sex appeal, yet, they did wonder with her in TDKR. That kind of passion from an actor is always reassuring, and, she has those catty eyes for sure.

@RextheKing

She is good in Parks in Rec. Really funny show. She plays kinda a weird chick so I've mostly seen her do comedy but there were some good dramatic moments with her. That being said I don't think she is right for Catwoman but I would take her in a different role.

Well said, my friend! Making people laugh is the most difficult thing in any medium from film to books.

Anne Hathaway takes the cake. She's the closest we've gotten to the source material.

I seriously have a thing for Aubrey Plaza. She's really odd and I like a girl that doesn't take herself too seriously.

Plus she's smokin hot.

I think Emily Blunt should get it. Mainly because she's been trying to get the role for awhile now.

This woman is far from ugly and easily better looking than Hathaway.

@AsgardianHobo

Pfeiffer was great but with a lot of changes to the character for Burtons version. Michelle sure killed that role, though.
blackagar94
blackagar94 - 8/31/2014, 12:04 PM
I think I would actually see her as Raven. She has that dark, blunt humor to her.And the stare of death. I don't know if she could be sassy enough for Catwoman.And she doesn't look like Selina to me.

I don't really like Michelle Pfeiffer as Catwoman. I kinda like Batman Returns but that movie is 20% Batman 80% weird Tim Burton shit.

Seriously go back and rewatch that movie. WTF?
