WARNING: SPOILERS BEYOND THIS POINT! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

Ever since Superman #41, we've known it was LOIS LANE who leaked Superman's secret identity online, which has caused good ol' Kal El/Clark Kent a lot of trouble. Gone are the days of everyone loving Superman - and fans have been wondering just what it is that could push Lois to out Superman like this.

The answer, it turns out, was to HELP him. The current cross-title story arc, Truth, is currently up to a chapter in Superman called Before Truth: Part 3, where Superman's latest enemy, Hordr, had been forcing Superman into doing his bidding, or risk his secret identity being leaked onto the internet.

Naturally, Superman didn't have any desire to put his loved ones in harms way, so he went along with Hordr's instructions. Unfortunately for Clark, he brought Lois along for the ride. Hordr's latest task was for Superman to use his recently discovered Solar Flare power to charge Hordr's weapons, and it was at this point Lois decided she could no longer do nothing. And thus, this happened:

With Hordr's leverage over Superman gone, Superman cut his solar flare short and destroy's all of Hordr's weapons before they can cause any harm. Unfortunately, the harm against Clark Kent was already done.

As you can imagine, Clark isn't exactly thrilled with Lois' solution. He tells her this, saying that he would have found a way to solve the problem without putting everyone connected to him in harm's way.

Superman can't see how Lois' plan was worth it, but how about you? Do you think Lois was justified in her actions, or do you think she reacted in the wrong way? Sound off in the comments below, and don't forget to share and hit that like button!

Oh! We thought she was doing it to hurt him! But she did it to help him! Just like all of those ridiculous Silver Age comics that promised a sinister motive on the cover...

Only to reveal that it was actually a very mundane explanation that undermines the emotional impact of the original tease.
