The 2011 reboot of the DC Universe is a publishing event following the conclusion of the current "Flashpoint" crossover storyline. It will entail changes to both the publishing format and fictional universe. Publishing changes include same day release of physical comics with digital platforms, all DC Universe titles being cancelled or restarted at a new issue 1, the former Wildstorm imprint being rolled into the greater DC Universe, and a number of new titles being released to round the number of ongoing series being published on a monthly basis up to 52. It will be also accompanied by a number of in universe changes designed to make characters more modern and accessible, though the scope of the changes will vary from character to character.

It looks like the same setup from September, except they switched Red lanterns to week 1 and Batgirl to week 2.

Still the best titles for me are in the beginning of the month, Detective comcis, Batgirl, GL, while not as good the majority of the titles I'm pickin up are in the last week, Flash, Aquaman, JL Dark, Hawkman, GL new gaurdians, Firestorm.

Alright, for everyone complaining about JL being pushed back...just stfu please. Did you not notice that #1 came out A WEEK before any of the other books did. It came out in August, and there was not a release in September. All of you go slap yourselves upside the head. It's regular schedule release is the third week of every month. deal with it, accept, or cry and moan about it.

JLA is not late. Number 1 came out early. Its always been solicited as a third week of the month book.

Some of you are idiots. Justice League's 1st issue was released a week early at the end of August as a primer for the rest of the new DCU. That is why you did not see it released in September with the rest of the new 52. Therefore, saying issue 2 is late is absurd. Issue 1 was a primer like I said. Now we we will see it being released alongside all of the other titles, which will see their 2nd issues in October.

My son and I were able to buy, I think, a total of 30 of the new 52s,(print, not digital). He has his favorites. I have mine. I think what will happen for us next is we will re-examine our DC pull list because not every title we sampled in the re-launch is worth collecting each month. Some aren't good at all i.m.o. and others I would rather wait for tpb's. We will have a list though that keeps what we loved best, and there were several for me and more for him. Besides, DC has other titles coming out that I am interested in and want room for in the shopping budget.
Overall the new 52 has been enjoyable. Some less so than others and only a small amount of real misfires. I wish though that it had been a complete reboot. More than anything the soft reboot seemed at times a little confusing, (and I am a long time reader. Imagine what it has been like for brand new readers.)
My cumulative score for the 30 titles we have? 6.8 stars out of 10.

Best #1 issues in order

1) Justice League #1
2) Action Comics #1
3) Aquaman #1
4) Superman #1

And yes, I do not have any Bat titles in here because i've never been a fan of Batman and his fanboys.

superwolverine: first off, nothing, and i mean nothing, in life is free. and i do deal with it. everyday when I see people complaining about the dumbest stuff on here makes me ashamed sometimes to be a comic fan. now, some stuff is legit to complain about. i'll admit that.

also, JL #2 is not late. #1 was just early. according to your argument, if a tv show comes on at 6:59pm one week, and comes on at 7:00pm the next week, it's late.
