When Smallville ended many assumed that the CW would look to other comicbook characters to fill the gap. Early rumors hit of plans to make a series based on the Teen Titans character Raven, but nothing official was ever announced.

Well new CW President Mark Pedowitz spoke earlier at the TCA (Television Critics Association) press tour today and while he doesn't comment on Raven, he does confirm that they are indeed looking for more DC Superheroes to bring to our small screens..

"We are looking next year to do superheroes if the right superhero comes to be. Having Warner Bros. as one of our partner companies and them having DC Comics makes it very intriguing to find the right superhero to go there."

And why wouldn't they? Despite some flaws. Ok, some HUGE flaws, Smallville was one of the most popular tv shows of the last decade. If the CW were to recreate that success, which DC character would be the best to go for? Keep an eye out for a poll later on, but for now let's hear your choices in the comments section.
