So today, Blackest Night #1 hit comic shops everywhere. First off the art, it's really good, Ivan Reis and Ethan Van Sciver are doing a really good job here. The writing is good, definatly has the same flow and grab as the preludes do. Geoff Johns is doing a really good job, this is by far his best yet, and I used to not be a very big fan of his. There's a lot of surprises around every corner, a lot of forshadowing and things like that to get you to want to pick up issue 2. I'm not going to spoil anything for you becuase even if you aren't a GL fan, this book is great. The Black Lantern's all haven't been revealed yet, although there is huge speculation that Bruce Wayne will be a Black lantern although nothing so far has been shown. Again great writing, great art a great book, if you see it check it out. I give it 4 out of 4.
