Petition for DC to include ARROW and FLASH in the DC Cinematic Universe

A Change.org petition has been created to petition WB into including Arrow and The Flash in their DC Cinematic Universe!

A petition has been created for Warner Brothers to include Arrow and The Flash in their upcoming Justice League movie. This is a great idea as fans have been clamouring with their support of the shows already.
To WB this should be a no brainer, but with this push, perhaps they'll listen to what the fans have to say.
The link is here and anyone who agrees with this idea should definitely sign it.

The arrogance of Fan is thinking WB/DC is under our control and not the other way around.

But

Man of Steel happens in September-October 2013, same period that the beginning of Arrow, but no mention of the worldwide alien invasion in Arrow.
You have your answer.. the Arrowverse and the DCCU are not in the same universe.

What? I would think that DC already includes a Justice League member (Flash) in their universe. Hmm... if they really aren't in the same world this is why Marvel is winning!

What evidence is there suggesting MoS was around September-October? Looked more like Summer to me in Kansas with all the bright green tree leaves and everything full of life.

@0mega

I'm sure he's a nice guy in real life, but for the role... I have the same sentiments as you. Why settle for wet dogshit when you can supreme glory?

@Klone: It's written in the official novel of Man of Steel, and I've asked the author about the dates, he said they were not from him but directly from the final script. Plus the fact that Tuna fishing happens generally between september and october.

There is a timeline of the DCCU here:

@Aztlan

Oh, cool... now I have to ask what evidence shows Arrow is set during that time :P

I'm not trying to sound like I'm doubting you and saying "UR WRONG! FFFUCCCKK U!!!!" I'm only wondering where the dates were said.

@Klone: lol, you're welcome.
Arrow has a lot of clues aiming for the season 1 pilot to be placed in October.
The tie-in comics of season 1 aim in the same way.

Plus the fact that all episodes seems to occur on the same month they are released.
For example: S01E09 was released on December 12, and happens during Christmas.

There are a lot of clues, I don't want to find them all for you however.. Just watch again the episodes and read the season 1 comics :P

@BatManiac

So sacrifice quality basically?
Klone
Klone - 5/19/2014, 10:10 AM
@Maniac

The quality that the Flash could have and deserves. Along with dozens of other DC characters.
Klone
Klone - 5/19/2014, 10:11 AM
MoS is quality except in the one place it really matters: the screenplay.
Klone
Klone - 5/19/2014, 10:26 AM
Filmmaking is bringing a script to life and whilst directing, acting, etc. is all important, without a good screenplay, which is the basis and glue for everything, you aren't creating a piece of art. Yes, yes, I thought Cavill's acting was a bit awkward here and there, so was Adam's performance, but on the whole, the factors such as acting, direction, etc. the actual filmmaking was good.

However, the screenplay was utterly terrible in my eyes. A weak basis, no glue to hold it together and the result was poor. There have been numerous times where a film has been superbly directed, well shot, excellently acted, has a great score and marketing, yes the screenplay has been the film's greatest downfall and resulted in it being received very negatively.

Filmmaking is the process of bringing a screenplay to life, though without a good screenplay, the result will not be good.

Klone - 5/19/2014, 10:28 AM
I've stated before it is the smartest move business wise, though I am against it because of the quality being sacrificed.
Klone
Klone - 5/19/2014, 10:31 AM
If the last 2 films are excellent, I will not moan. If they are every bit as terrible as MoS, then I will moan about them for being shit, not for how big or small the DCU is.
Klone
Klone - 5/19/2014, 10:34 AM
I'd still rather take the alternative over the CW Flash being merged honestly. I'm not that is how it should be without question because I know how many people like yourself do want the Universe to merge and having a CW gif spamming tendency.
Klone
Klone - 5/19/2014, 10:39 AM
Oh, I won't moan about Justice League if the films are excellent.
Klone
Klone - 5/19/2014, 10:48 AM
I haven't really moaned about the lack of a shared Universe though, only the quality of what they're putting out.

Oh, what next, if they don't merge them it will be I and other pure evil users responsible?
Klone
Klone - 5/19/2014, 10:49 AM
Besides, BatManiac, aren't you the one who has always said over and over that it isn't a competition? Why bring up Marvel?

Hm?
Klone
Klone - 5/19/2014, 10:55 AM
@Maniac

Well, firstly he won't because the Academy is all politics (2 of the 5 didn't even watch 12 Years A Slave) and secondly, no, I actually would not I have my own thoughts on the matter, but I don't condemn things for being different to how I would do them so enough of that bullshit coming from you. I don't hate your precious Man of Steel because it is different from how I would do things.
Klone
Klone - 5/19/2014, 10:58 AM
In all likelihood if the next two films are massive financial hits, WB will increase have more films done back to back. They as sure as hell can afford to and have the resources as long as DC films pull in big money.

And even if there is not a big shared Universe (which I am personally fine with as long as the films are of a excellent standard), you'll still have your precious CW shared Universe, an animated shared Universe and, likely, a shared game Universe.

Oh no, what a dark and dire time for DC!!!
Klone
Klone - 5/19/2014, 11:00 AM
@Maniac

Some of the suggestions I've made have actually a lick of sense behind them and people do that all the time. People constantly make suggestions on how films could have been better when they turned out shit. People don't hate them though because they didn't match up with their little fanfictions 100%: they hate them because they were shit and when they see the illogical and issues with the screenplay, they'll make suggestions and surprise, surprise, some of them actually are good!
Klone
Klone - 5/19/2014, 11:02 AM
@Maniac

No, not how it had always been because this time, even if it is no where near as big as Marvel's Universe, they'll have a film series in which multiple DC heroes/villains exist together, interact, etc. Pretty sure TDKT was isolated to only the Batman Universe as was the Reeve Superman stuff.
Klone
Klone - 5/19/2014, 11:09 AM
@BatManiac

Good God... I already said SEVERAL TIMES now that yes, merging the Universes is the smartest business decision, but that doesn't mean I have to like it or endorse it.
Klone
Klone - 5/19/2014, 11:11 AM
You seem to be under the impression that I'm saying not merging the Universe is how it "SHOULD BE RAWR!!"

...No, that is not what I am saying for Christ's sake. Business wise the decision is the most logical but I still do not like the prospect of merging the CW Universe and I not endorse it at all.
