Poll: What DC Property Would You Like To See On The Big Screen Next?

DC Entertainment/WB have Green Lantern in the can. TDKR and Superman are coming, and we are told that a Flash movie is in the works. But what character would you like to see get the big screen treatment after that?

DC/WB have been criticized for focusing too much on Batman and Superman when it comes to their big screen output. But they have said on more than one occasion that they plan to move forward with various other properties. Now we have Green lantern coming up, and a Flash movie is planned(although news on that has been scarce) as well as the old reliable Batman and Superman flicks. But what next? Wonder Woman would seem to be out of the(big) picture for now as she's getting a tv show.

Rumor wise, we have heard whispers of the Green Arrow centric Supermax, the supervillain themed Suicide Squad and even a Hawkman movie. but there has been nothing solid on them since the rumors first hit. St Rock and Lobo both briefly had directors attached only to be left by the wayside. Obviously a Justice League movie would be what most fans would want to see but DC have stated pretty definitively that that was not on the cards. So leaving that aside, So where should DC go next?

I've included characters that have been rumored, as well as some more I think could work for a movie etc. Obviously I couldn't include the entire DC roster! If you think I have left someone significant out click "Other" and leave a comment. I'm leaving Vertigo characters out of this one too even though many characters do cross over into the regular DCU.

I am huge fan of D.C. I think it would be cool if they would do a period piece and introduce the Justice Society of America as a movie Trilogy

Suicide Squad for me. Get to use several characters that otherwise might never appear in film. I also like the fact that some of them could die in the course of the story, adds an edge that most comic book movies avoid.

Captain Marvel/Black Adam film would be great. I'd love to see a Green Arrow movie also. With Marvel doing the Avengers it would be nice to see DC do some kind of team up with some of their characters as well, and it doesn't have to be a Justice League movie. A brave and the bold story would be cool. The flash and Green Lantern, or Batman and Green Arrow.

I think a Booster Gold movie would br pretty cool. They did a good job fleshing out his character in the series 52. This movie could be a good cross with the sic fi genre and open the door for more second tier characters on the big screen.

@TorturedXGenius- Im not a hater. But i do have a question. How would the characters have dialog underwater? How would that work? Same question goes for a Namor movie. Seriously curious.

That supermax idea for Green Arrow was very intriguing,
no wonder WB let it fall through.

Just throwing it out there... I think a Fourth World movie would be awesome. It has potential to be groundbreaking. The only drawback is it would require a large budget and most likely would be a hard draw with mainstream audiences.

Personally I think an Animal Man movie based either on Grant Morrison's run or the later Vertigo run could make a great, unusual CBM.

Fuel, stating something is shit doesn't make it so. Care to back that up? Have you ever even read any Dc aside from Bats and Supes?
BuckyCap

Aquaman would be awesome, but I have to go with a SHAZAM! movie next. The story isn't very convoluted and the villain is easy to set up/introduce - plus what would be cooler than Black Adam throwing down with Captain Marvel? DC would also be able to make a Black Adam spinoff movie.

The only problems I can see would be if they tried forcing the "Marvel family" into the story. Captain Marvel and Black Adam need to be the only ones with super powers in the movie (other than the wizard Shazam himself).

Intruder, it has a green light and a script and Greg Berlanti is "looking" to direct. So yeah, nothing too encouraging over the last while but it's definitely in the works.
