Recent years have seen Aquaman become a bit of a joke with some fans. While he's always had a dedicated following, the majority have always favored Marvel's undersea King of Atlantis, Namor the Sub-Mariner. Well, if Geoff Johns and Jim Lee have their way, it looks like the DC superhero will soon be comics' #1 water dwelling ass kicker! Unveiling his new, more youthful look on the cover to Justice League #4, the relaunched universe will see the debut of a take on the character who seemingly has even Batman, Green Lantern and Superman at his mercy! I asked you guys what you thought of this new look, and here are the results in full...

I still don't see what's so awesome about it. It's the same damn costume with hippie necklaces and a chain from Hot Topic, and sideburns from the 1700's.

I've always felt that AQUAMAN belongs more in the HE-MAN Universe. :)

I think making him gay would be the only interesting thing they could do to this character. Maybe even going full on pre-op Shemale.

ever since brightest day i liked aquaman and now even more,looking forward to JL and aquaman #1 but as for namor he always seemed silly and dumb to me

IMO, most of these DC characters are just getting a soft reboot. I don't see any game changers or risks taken with these characters. Superman so far, is the only character that is being tweaked the most.

I hope DC does get the interests of new readers and young readers, though.

I always felt that Aquaman should had stayed dead and Tempest takes over as Aquaman. It's a shame his character got killed. I hope there's a reboot version of Garth.

I think he looks awesome. I have always kinda liked this look of his suit. I just think he needs to lose the facial hair though. It doesn't fit with the look. I look forward to his character being revamped, and hopefully redeemed in the eyes of the readers.

Namor Mackenzie is not Asian, he's half Scottish.

What I like about Aquaman is that DC keeps rehashing\rebooting\rejuvenating Aquaman even if people keep ridiculing the character. That's perseverance, man. Marvel OTOH doesn't give a rat ass about Namor.
