Look's really good. I'm actually digging the art on those panels.

The art is ok, the colouring is what is off for me. Just seems lazy.

Disappointed that Angela doesn't appear on covers for future issues. I was hoping she'd stick around. I'm unfamiliar with her Spawn universe incarnation, so I was intrigued by her introduction as a lost but powerful being.

Oh, and the art was jarring on the last issue, but it works as an off-kilter one-shot (or in this case two-shot).

Marvel is really scraping the bottom of the barrel for artists on a lot of their new books. Seriously, can't they just go to an art school and find some kids who can do better? I bet they could.

Infinity #6 had a VERY GOOD ending to the story. Hope we see more of Thane and Ebony Maw soon.

Wonder when Thanos will be released.

I'm anxious for all the Earth trash talk that GotG movie will bring. MCU's cosmic franchises really needs to blow up after this movie. So much greatness in in the cosmic comics

Surprised more people aren't into the art. I love the pulp look, reminds me of old school stuff like Flash Gordon and Buck Rogers. Looks way better than the Michael Chicklas Drax from earlier issues.

That art looks incredible. Old school pulpy style. Totally suits the classic space pulp style they're trying to recreate.

@della & @oldgreg Marvel have always taken movie elements and put in in the comics(x-men wore costumes similar to the movies, Bullseye looking like his movie counterpart, Spidey even having organic webshooters) this isnt something they just started.

I like this series but I don't like it. I'm assuming that Bendis has read the GotG script and is trying to make Peter Quill more like that. The way he's been writing Quill is just completely different from what his character's been all the years before this series. Suddenly he's a 20-something class clown with daddy issues whereas before he was a slightly older leader of men with a sarcastic edge. And I like this style of art but for a different genre of book.

Also for a book that's centrally a cosmic book they have been strangely absent from the events if Infinity except for a couple of panels at the very end.

Issue 8 had the worst artist I have ever seen in a CB. Sloppy and lazy . As much as I was enjoying the series, I closed it after two pages because I was so disgusted that Marvel let this reach the shelves.

Marvel get your act together with your CBM artists. The Deadpool Annual on the shelves this week is also a joke. Refusued to buy this as well.

No the art is not bad at all……sigh…..Francesco is one of the best draftsmen working today. But I do feel his style doesn't suit Guardians.

@ ThePowerCosmic

Didn't say he was. I contended that he's trying to make some of the comic characters more like they are in the movie - not necessarily in look but in personality and behavior. It just seems odd to change Peter Quill so much right before a the movie is coming out. Bendis does get to see the scripts. And that makes sense as they try to make sure the comic world matches the movies. On a different note the editors did mention (on the letters page) that Steve McKniven was contributing to the movie artistically and he designed the new look for the team. I'm not a fan of his redesigns but I do like his art.
