Via iFanboy, Marvel Comics has unveiled yet another teaser image for Marvel NOW!. Yesterday, we saw a teaser for Thunderbolts revealing a new artist for the series. Then, just a little while ago, we saw one teasing a new story arc for The Superior Spider-Man beginning in April 2013, and now we have an image teasing a new storyline for Mark Waid's Indestructible Hulk. Additionally, the following image reveals that the series now has a new artist: Walt Simonson, who will be replacing Leinil Francis Yu on the ongoing series. Simonson is known for his work on Thor, which is coincidental considering the fact that Mjolnir is present in this teaser image. Be sure to stay tuned to CBM for even more from Marvel NOW!.

*sigh* Walt just isn't as good as he once was, this title get's dropped as soon as he starts for me. I want to keep reading it but I just can not with that art, I dropped Avengers when he took over that too.

didn't the editors say that they wouldn't be changing creators and that they were in it for the long haul? wasn't that one of the advantages to marvel now compared to dcnu? dc said their goals were to make sure that the books came out on time.

Hulk looks like he's shitting Mjolnir at the audience and poking it with a stick. Just sayin'.

@ManOfSuperguy Wow. Calling someone a homophobic slur for expressing an opinion. How very mature of you.

This sucks! I'm dropping when he starts. That pic above is crap.

Good because Yu's artwork was muddled and all-over-the-place. Some pages I couldn't understand which panel lead into the next.
It's like he'd gone to the Bachalo school of art. :)

shame leinil francais yu is off indestructible hulk but he is being replaced my a legendary artist.

@ manofsuperguy

i agree with waid, snyder & azzarello but the other positions would go to rick remender, jonthan hickman or jeff lemire.

Yu is one of my favorite artists working today. And if Indestructable Hulk is gonna seem like a bunch of one shots, held together by a premise like the new Iron Man, I may consider dropping it.

I love Yu's art, and it's a shame he's leaving. But Simonson is a legend so I'm not too upset.

Bendis and Johns seem the same to me. They are both great when to comes to writing stand-alone characters (Daredevil and Green Lantern, respectively). However, the same can't be said for when they write for team books.

HORRIBLE ART. One of the most infamous moves by Marvel... invest you in some artwork and then give you completely different stuff (cough cough AVX - beautiful covers, crappy Romita Jr for most, a single issue or so of prime art and back to Jr for some more 70s feel garbage).

just a rotating artist for a break? Could be a lot worse than Simonson the Legend.
I wonder if Yu has trouble meeting deadlines?

I'll miss Yu's artwork he's one of the best out there just such a unique style and to all the people hating on Walt...why? That above pic is pretty damn good but then again y'all hate to hate such pathetic wastes of time, energy and comment space lol if you don't like something then why read the article..? Idiots I know Walt isn't the best but the man has done some wonders and with Waid writing this series is only gonna get better

@Nomis...Me too brother. Got a tattoo of Walt's Thor on my arm. His artwork is different and that's what I liked about it. Today's artists are phenomenally realistic, which I like as well. I guess my opinion is that he was one of the best at that time and compared to today's stuff it looks childish. I still love his versions of Thor and Beta Ray Bill! KRAKATHOOOOOMMM!!! (he was the best at sound effects too!)

I generally like Simonson's work, but sometimes he just uses awkward poses and weird proportions. I think it is the pose more than anything that makes the pic a rough, but the rest of the book may look good.
