The long awaited part three of Grim Hunt is now available. Does it continue the unbelievable epicness? The answer is yes.....and a bit of no.

What I mean is that this issue doesn't feel as epic as the first two. The resurrection of Kraven was an awesome cliffhanger from part two. Now that he's back, he just doesn't seem to be doing anything. Don't get me wrong, this issue is a must-have, just not as much as the first two.

Enough of that. Onto the goods. The issue's pacing is excellent, the art is fantastic. Seeing Spider-Man hanging is truly an unbelievable sight.

One thing I liked is that Kraven is not truly evil. Didn't his wife know that? She's trying to get him to do something big. Of course one of the things I didn't like is when Kraven was stabbed by his daughter. They've been building toward his resurrection for a while, and this happens?

One of the only let-downs of Grim Hunt is, where's Venom and Anti-Venom? They are the "big spiders." The symboites are my favorite Spider-Man villains. There hasn't really been an arc devoted to those guys since New Ways to Die.

One of the big things about this issue for me was the last page. I love the black costume. I have a feeling the conclusion of Grim Hunt will be the best Spider-Man comic in a long time. I'm hoping for some serious action with the black costume.

I had a feeling that (SPOILER) Kaine would die. It was an interesting plot twist. The other spiders in Grim Hunt didn't really do anything. But for their scene, the dialogue is top-notch.

In closing, this comic is very good, just not as epic as the first two.

I give this comic a 4/5. The conclusion of Grim Hunt will be out next week.

I didn't read Grim Hunt but when I heard Spider-Man was killed and I couldn't beleive this was mainstream
But then seeing how it wasn't Peter, that was mighty heroic of the victim

Let's see if O.M.I.T. is gonna fix the One More Day stuff

Great review! I realised it was Kaine last issue but it was still an excellent twist! This issue was a little weak but I guess it was just building up Kraven's return...the fact he's "undead" is very interesting! As much as I'm loving this arc, I cannot wait until it's over for OMIT. That will be awesome!!! :D

@JoshW Thanks. I'm looking forward to One Moment In Time too. And then Origin of Species looks even cooler.
